After completing her undergraduate degree at U.C. Santa Barbara in 1990, Patrice moved to Santa Rosa. She enjoyed a long career in the life insurance industry (marketing, project management, and product development), before beginning her legal studies and career. She graduated from Empire Law School and began practicing in 2012. Her practice areas include fire law, personal injury, premises liability, product liability, contracts, landlord-tenant issues, and all equine-related matters. She is an avid horsewoman and dressage competitor, serves on the Board of the Sonoma County Horse Council, and is editor in chief of the Sonoma County Horse Journal magazine. She was instrumental in equine evacuations, and providing feed and supplies to displaced horses during the October fires in Northern California. She and her husband live in Santa Rosa along with their German Shepherd, Wyatt.
